In 1979 Bruno's keen interest in playing violin led to the meeting with Master Luthier Otello Bignami, which resulted in his enrollment in the Artistic Violin Making School of Bologna, of which Bignami was Director, until his graduation in 1983.

Subsequently Mr. Bignami asked Bruno to be his assistant until 1989 when he finally opened his own shop dedicated to the construction of Violins, Violas and Cellos.
